But the iMBA programme also has a specific profile, because of its strong business orientation, interactive teaching methods, international focus and student body and emphasis on the development of personal and managerial skills.

Master of European Business (MEB)

Over the last few years there has been an exponential growth in the number of advanced programmes dealing with European affairs. Hardly any of them, however, focus on the interplay between European policy and business life. That is what makes MEB unique. It is not about EU institutions or policies only, nor is it a set of courses which exclusively deal with companies operating on the single market.

The focus of the programme is rather on the interaction between EU policy and business life. Companies need knowledge about the EU because of:

  • the far-reaching regulating role of the EU in the field of economic and competition policies
  • the wish of companies to influence EU decision-making through lobbying and their desire to have specific information on the functioning of the internal market, trade and investment opportunities

This advanced master programme is organised in collaboration with the Corvinus University of Budapest, in Budapest. It consists of 4 modules, two of which are compulsory and set up at EHSAL during the Fall Semester.

During the Spring Semester, students get the chance to specialize in a particular subject. Either they study the global dimension of European business in Brussels (EHSAL) or they focus on EU enlargement and business opportunities in Budapest (Corvinus University of Budapest).

Application Deadline: 1 June 2005 for non-EU students and 1 November 2005 for EU students.

Conditions for Admission: Master degree (equivalent to a Flemish degree), proficiency in English

Fee: €5,400 for full-time programme and 3,100 EUR for part-time programme
