Vesalius College

Vesalius College is located in Brussels, Belgium, the “Capital of Europe”. Vesalius offers students a unique opportunity to study in an international city rich in culture and set squarely in the middle of world events.

The student body at Vesalius College includes more than 70 different nationalities and speaks more than 35 languages. This diverse group of students forms a tight community providing students with the opportunity to work with and learn from each other and forge lasting friendships with people from many different cultures and perspectives.

The College encourages students to work hard to reach their academic potential, but also to live a full life away from books and classes. Brussels has a tremendous amount to offer those interested in exploration. Students quickly discover the city to be vibrant and cosmopolitan with friendly charm and something to offer every taste.

Small, interactive classes, flexibility in course selection, and continuous assessment characterize the college’s teaching methods. As a small college with a student body of approximately 400 and a low teacher-to-student ratio, the faculty is accessible and able to take a personal interest in the success of their students. These close working relationships form the cornerstone of the Vesalius educational philosophy.

Accreditation Status - Vesalius College is registered with the Flemish government of Belgium as an institution of higher learning. The Vesalius College Bachelor’s degree is recognized as the equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree issued from a Flemish University.

Vesalius College is a participant in the Bologna Process, the reform effort designed to standardize higher education throughout Europe. In accordance with the Bologna declaration, Vesalius College offers the three-year European Bachelor’s degree and calculates coursework in ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits.

Internship Programme - Vesalius College strongly encourages third-year students to take internships that support their area of study for credit. To help place students in an internship, the College set up the Vesalius Internship Program and partners with a variety of businesses and organizations in Brussels. These relationships with the Brussels community help many students attain internships every year.

Addition Details

Courses: Bachelors Degrees offered in Business, Communications, and International Affairs

Content: Concentrations are available in Economics, History, Politics, International Management, Technology Management, and European Studies

Fee: Tuition for full-time students is €4,715 per semester (€9,430 per year)

Conditions of Admission: Students must provide official academic transcripts, test results, reference letters, essay, and application. Details can be found on the college’s website

Deadline for Application: Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. There is therefore no deadline but students are encouraged to apply several months in advance in order to allow time for all documents to arrive and be reviewed.

Registration Period: New students register during the 3 day Orientation Program which precedes the start of term.
