Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School The Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School has been delivering degree programmes since 1959, and has over 10,000 graduates in over 75 countries worldwide. Our Masters and MBA programmes are unique and incorporate the best research carried out by our faculty at Ghent University, the KU Leuven and our Management School. Has an established tradition of management education dating back to 1953. Combines the strengths of two prominent academic organisations in management education: Ghent University and the KU Leuven. Is the only business school in Belgium with triple accreditation from AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB. AMBA is a formal accrediting body that thoroughly evaluates the quality of the MBA programmes of business schools worldwide. Degree Programmes Offered at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School

We currently offer an international MBA programme - in four different formats - and 3 Masters degrees.

1. The MBA Programme

The MBA Programme of Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School is a general management programme, aimed at executives with at least 3 years of working experience and with a strong international focus. It gives participants up-to-date theoretical insights in relation to practical experience, all within an intellectually stimulating environment that is shared with similarly experienced fellow participants. Our MBA programme is AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB accredited.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for our part-time MBA programmes is currently €10,500 per academic year. The fee for our full-time MBA is €15,000. These fees include costs for books, course material, use of computers, accommodation for residential seminars, meals, coffee, etc. The tuition fee has to be paid before the start of the programme. Only cost of living and travel expenses for residentials abroad are not included

Within the framework of the 'Ondernemerschapsportefeuille' Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School is recognised for the section 'Education'.

2. Masters degrees

Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School organises 3 one-year full-time masters degrees, aimed at young university graduates, who know where they want to go, and need the right management foundation to help get them started...

Masters in Management Our Masters in Management degree is a one-year full-time academic programme for young university graduates, covering all management disciplines. The masters in management is delivered in English and takes place both at our Leuven Campus and  Ghent Campus, in Belgium.

Masters in Marketing Our Masters in Marketing degree is a one-year full-time academic programme for young university graduates, covering all marketing management disciplines. The masters in marketing is delivered in English and takes place at our Ghent Campus, in Belgium.

Masters in Finance Our Masters in Finance degree is a one-year full-time academic programme for young university graduates, covering all finance management disciplines. The masters in finance is delivered in English and takes place at our Ghent Campus, in Belgium.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for the Masters in General Management for Academic Year 2007-2008 is €8,250

The tuition fee for the Masters in Marketing Management and the Masters in Financial Management for Academic Year 2007-2008 is €7,000.

The tuition fee includes all course books and course materials, use of computers, accommodation for residential seminars and travel on company and intercampus visits. Only cost of living and travel expenses for residentials abroad are not included.

Application Procedures for MBA & Masters Programmes

There are two possible application procedures: an on-campus assessment procedure and a distance procedure.

1. On-campus assessment procedure  

• a solid academic record at university level

• all MBA applicants must have an excellent professional history, with at least three years of business-related experience.  This is not necessary for our Master programmes.

• attend one of the in-house admission days

• a completed application form

• a non- refundable payment of the application fee of  Euro 50

• CV

2. Distance procedure

• a solid academic record at university level

• all MBA applicants must have an excellent professional history, with at least three years of business-related experience.  This is not necessary for our Master programmes.

• a promising GMAT score ( We require a promising GMAT score. The current average is 640 )

• a TOEFL score of 100/250/600 (not necessary if your education was in a recognised English speaking programme)

• a letter of motivation

• two reference letters

• a completed application form

• a non-refundable payment of the application fee of Euro 50

• CV
